English – Reading
What do you know is happening?
What do you infer is happening?
Write your responses in full sentences.
English – Writing
Read your diary entry from yesterday.
You are going to edit your work to make it the best it can be. You can use any coloured pen or pencil you have (like when we use our purple pens in class).
Remember editing is to improve on our good work!
Have you included capital letters, finger spaces, full stops, any other punctuation such as a question mark if you include a question, adjectives, adverbs and conjunctions in your writing?

Review – read the following Year 2 common exception words: bath, find, pass, whole, who, wild
Read: write, rhino, proper, scurry
Write : rhubarb, provide, wrecking, hurrying
Speed read: grass, hurry, wrap, rhythm, write, ride, carry, write, rhubarb, rhino, river, marry, wrong, proper, protect, scurry, wrestle, rhyme, Rose, correct.
Maths – Basic Skills
Write down the five times tables from 0x5 to 12×5.

Answer the following quiz (reasoning) style questions
Spellings
Practice spelling the following words.
Use the same ‘copy, copy, copy, cover word and write’ process we use in class.

One day, the was a girl called Mary and her brother called Joe. They both asked there dad if they could go to the beach, suddenly something caught her eye. She shuffled away to the sand and asked her brother to help. Just then she had said, she found a fossil so she decided that from now on she will go to the beach everyday with her brother.
