What Was Queen Victoria Famous For ?
Queen Victoria is most famous for the repressive moralistic atmosphere that was so
pervasive in her reign, during what was later called the Victorian era. Queen Victoria
reigned over the British Empire from 1837 to 1901.
Who Was Queen Victoria ?
Victoria (Alexandrina Victoria; 24 May 1819 – 22 January 1901) was Queen of the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 20 June 1837 until her death. Known as the
Victorian era, her reign of 63 years and seven months was longer than that of any of her
predecessors.
What Did Queen Victoria Do In her Life Time ?
Queen Victoria was the matriarch of the British Empire. She epitomised the values of the
era and carved out a new role for the monarchy. During her 63-year reign, a length
surpassed only by our current Queen, Victoria presided over the social and industrial
transformation of Britain, as well as expansion of the empire.

What Was King Henry Famous For ?
King Henry VIII is probably the best-known English ruler of all time. The subject of
countless stories, TV programs , and movies, Henry VIII is most famous for being hugely
fat, having a fixation with beheadings, and for having no fewer than six wives during the
course of his nearly 38-year reign.
Who Was King Henry The 8th ?
Henry VIII was King of England from 1509 until his death in 1547. Henry is best known for
his six marriages, and, in particular, his efforts to have his first marriage annulled. His
disagreement with Pope Clement VII on the question of such an annulment led Henry to
initiate the English Reformation, separating the Church of England from papal authority.
He appointed himself the Supreme Head of the Church of England and dissolved convents
and monasteries, for which he was excommunicated.
What Did Queen Victoria Do In Her Life Time ?
King Henry VII died on 21 April 1509 and the young Henry succeeded him as King.
Inexperienced and still a teenager at the time of his coronation, Henry VIII relied greatly
on Thomas Wolsey’s guidance to rule the kingdom. Soon Wolsey became a very powerful
figure in the English court and was made the Lord Chancellor by 1515. King Henry VIII’s
only son, Edward, was born on October 12, 1537. Upon Henry’s death in 1547, Edward
succeeded him as king at the tender age of 10 and ruled until his death in 1553.

She even has her own statue with a horse and her on it! Along time ago her nickname was Lilibet. Queen Elizabeth was only 8 years old when she met her future husband. And were married in Westminster Abby.

The queen Elizabeth loves corgis a lot. She is the only one in the UK that can drive without a licence. Elizabeth’s sister gave the nickname to her family. Queen Elizabeth lives in London at the Windsor castle. If you write a letter to the queen she might write you a letter back. The queens favourite animals are dogs and horses. She has two corgis that are called Willow and Holly. In 2015 the queen stopped breeding corgis. Prince Edward is her favourite child.
