apostrophes are strange little creatures that make two words make one word like this one
you + are = you’re

1) I don’t want to stay at home.
2) I won’t eat my lunch.
3) She’ll do pancakes on Saturday.
4) I can’t go out to the swimming pool.
5) He’ll do pizza for everyone today.

Apostrophes are a punctuation sitting on top of a word
e.g you will =you’ll
we will= we’ll
are not = aren’t

Sometimes we contract words to make them easier to say or write. This means that we combine them together and make them smaller.
For example: She will = she’ll
We use an apostrophe for contraction to show when we have done this.
