Year 4 History

Good afternoon Year 4!

In history this term, we are going to be learning about the Ancient Egyptians. This is one of my favourite topics so I am very excited to share it with you. Before we start and because this lesson is online, I thought it would be a nice idea to give you some time to research the Egyptians.

Please click the blue bitesize link below.

It will give you some information about the Ancient Egyptians along with a few pictures of artefacts for you to look at. There are also some nets to create if you have a printer but don’t worry if you don’t.

I would also like you to use the internet to search for some facts. You could create a fact file, poster or leaflet; I would love to see these when we get back to school. To do this, start with google on whichever webpage you use and type ‘facts for children on ancient Egyptians’ this should give you a list of websites to choose from. Some will be better than others so it is all about trial and error. You could also look at some pictures and maybe have a go at drawing some yourself.

Happy researching and welcome back!
