Tuesday 20th October

Good Morning Parks class!

We hope you’re ready for some more home learning.

It will be similar to when you were in Year 3.

There will be tasks for English and Maths on each day with an additional wider curriculum task too.

Once you’ve completed the tasks let us know how you’ve got on in the comments or via email.

Any questions, just email.

The email is: yearfour@lingsprimary.org.uk

Times Tables Rock Stars Update:

Faraday are currently winning. Let’s try and beat them! Well done to those who have already had a go.

Here are today’s tasks:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zwwp8mn/articles/z3nfw6f

Follow the link to remind yourself of the work we have done on expanded noun phrases and fronted adverbials. Read the information, watch the video and have a go at the quiz.

When you’ve done this complete this task:

Maths:

Have a go at TTRS, even if it’s just one round – if you need your logins then just email!

Today we are learning about the 6 and 7 times tables.

Watch the videos below and try and memorise them.

Write your 6 and 7 times tables out on a piece of paper.

Can you notice any patterns?

Write in the comments or email the patterns you notice.

Wider Curriculum:

This term we have been looking at states of matter.

Can you describe what the 3 states of matter are?

Then follow the link to watch the video.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zrdkjxs

Can you sort the things you can see in the video into solids, liquids or gases?
