Read the text and answer the questions about how to look after a dog.

If you could have any animal as a pet what would you choose? Why would you choose that animal? How do you think you would need to look after it?

Today there is another clue for you to solve to find the culprit in our story. Use the grid below that you started to complete yesterday when you have the answer to today’s clue.

Common Exception Words.

We need to practice these words to make sure we can read and spell them ready to move into year 3. Below are all the words you need to be able to read and spell. Remember, some must start with capital letters for them to be spelt correctly so be careful!

PE

You should try to do some physical exercise every day.

Can you invent a game that you could play that would help keep your body moving? This could be a running game, a throwing game, a catching game. Don’t forget to share your ideas with us.
