Anagrams:

Anagrams are when the letters of a word are all jumbled up and it’s your job to work out what it is meant to say. So for example: ‘umpj’ would be ‘jump’.

Today there is a chocolate theme. Can you work out what these anagrams are?

For an extra bonus point – the highlighted letters spell out a special word!

Answers will be revealed tomorrow.

Today’s problems:

Look, Cover, Write, Check:

Practice the spellings you need to know with this cool game. Select ‘Year 3 and 4’ and a ‘Tricky words’ list and away you go.

    Reading:

    Activity 2

    Mildred

    Impression Evidence
    1. Cares about what people think of her Mildred blushed
    2. Mildred was very patience “Anyway, it’s not a bad cat. It’ll learn in time.” “Like you did?
    Ethel went on.
    3. Mildred does not show off a lot Mildred knew the spell but never told anyone.

    Ethel

    Impression Evidence
    1. Is very confident “Turn me into a frog. I am waiting.”
    2. Ethel teases people a lot “I think Miss Cackle gave you that cat on purpose,”
3.Ethel underestimated Mildred so she is a pig. Mildred muttered the spell under her breath – and
Ethel vanished. In her place stood a small pink and grey pig.

    Activity 3

I think Mildred is going to take the Ethel the in the library and revise the spell.
Or tell the teacher that she turned Ethel into a pig.
She will take Ethel home and say that she has moved in a new house and tell her mum that Ethel has gone away.Maybe one of the students tell the teacher
