Tuesday 9th June 2020 – Writing planning task.

Hello you lovely bunch,

Today you are going to be planning instructions of how a t – shirt machine works. You are only planning today so please don’t write your instructions until you have been given the task tomorrow and what needs to be included. It would be great if you could draw the t shirt machine and label atleast 10 parts – naming what the part is using a powerful verb and adverb to describe how it functions. For example: tap – twisting (verb) quickly (adverb). If you can’t then in the comments number 1 to 10  – name each of the part with the verb and adverb. See example above.

Watch the video clip below, you can pause as many times as you need it to write down the parts, verb and adverb or watch the video as many times as you like.

https://www.literacyshed.com/shirtmachine.html

Send a photo of the plans with the 10 numbered parts, name of each part and the verb and adverb for each part to the year four email or add the 10 numbered parts with the adverb and verb for each part in the comments.

Happy planning.

Mrs Denny, Mrs Baldry and Miss Bishop

    1. You will need a very long twisty pipe to connect the two electrical gas/steam boxes.
    2. about 2-7 fast taps.
    3. you will also need about ten nozzles which are about ten metres.
    4. also you will need a seven metre sharp, new and quick.
    6. Also a wheel that could connect the other whole to the boxes.
    7. you will need a green button beneath your working chair so you can process your machine.
    8. Now you will need a red button so you can limit the amount of clothes you can have.
    9. You will need some steam/gas so that you can make your machine start working.
    10. Now you will need a gas taker so you can make your cloth machine working.

These comments are coming through so it should be able to send through typed work. If you are trying to send a picture of your work or a document you will need to send it through email to yearfour@lingsprimary.org.uk . If you are struggling maybe you could ask an adult at home to help you?

We have to approve the comment before you can see it Rihanna, don’t panic. As long as you are sending it, we should be able to see it.

Hi Max! Please use the one in the video to help you write a plan. You should think about each of the parts and what they do. Remember this is just a plan.
