Year 4 Geography task 8th June 2020
Last week we asked you to find out ten things about The River Nile. This week we would like you to investigate a river much closer to home – The River Nene.
Can you produce a fact file of information about The River Nene using the following questions to guide you? You can show your fact file in any way you like but must be presented neatly.
Key vocabulary:
Source – where the river starts
Mouth – where the river meets the sea
Confluence – where two rivers meet
Starter questions: (to help get you started)
Where is the source of the Nene?
Where is the mouth of the Nene?
What towns/counties does it flow through?
How long is it?
Where is its widest point?
Take a look at the website below to help you. Try to make sure your work is written in your own words and not just copied and pasted from a website.
**Make sure you use the internet safely to do your research. **
