Y4 Maths task- Friday 1st May

Pinch, punch first day of the month!!

Good morning and happy 1st of May.

I can’t quite believe that April has disappeared already! Looking forward to seeing all of your lovely faces soon. I hope you are still working hard and have the big smiles on your faces like when you were at school.

Following on from this weeks learning, today we are going to be looking at Quadrilaterals.

Quadrilaterals are 4 sided shapes, can you think of any…..

(Square, rectangle, rhombus, parallelogram, diamond, trapezium, kite….)

We are going to pull all of the learning on lines of symmetry, types of lines and angles and shape properties together.

Here is a quick video to refresh your memory…

The video is american so they call the trapezium something different. Just have a quick look on google if you’re not sure what a trapezium looks like.

On the sheet if you can print it or just copy onto a piece of paper, draw the shape and then fill out its properties. Send a picture of your completed table.

Have a lovely weekend, make sure you are staying safe.

I’ve watched the video and I’ve seen this animator’s work before across the internet, but I’m not quite sure what else to do as there is no link to go to. It’s refreshed my mind on quadrilaterals and it turns out I managed to spell it properly on my first try.

Oh no, could you not access the work? There must have been a problem with the link. Well done for watching the video 🙂
